Recognising the characteristics of vulnerability
Making independent decisions relies on us being able to remember, understand, communicate and evaluate information. It relies on us having mental capacity.
Our customers may tell us about a medical condition or situation that's affecting their ability to make decisions. On other occasions you may notice, or pick up on, something that indicates there may be a problem.
When we identify signs that our customer may be struggling we need to take action to support their decision making.
